Chapter 29
तं पिबन् पाणिमिन्द्रस्य शतमद्ला व्यवर्धत । स आसीदू द्वादशसमो द्वादशाहेन पार्थिव:,“इन्द्रके उस हाथको पीता हुआ वह बालक एक ही दिनमें सौ दिनके बराबर बढ़ गया। बारह दिनोंमें राजकुमार मान्धाता बारह वर्षकी अवस्थावाले बालकके समान हो गये
taṁ piban pāṇim indrasya śatam adlā vyavardhata | sa āsīd dvādaśa-samaḥ dvādaśāhena pārthivaḥ ||
Bebendo da mão de Indra, a criança cresceu com espantosa rapidez, como se cem dias tivessem passado em um só. Assim, em doze dias, o príncipe real Māndhātṛ tornou-se como um menino de doze anos.
