Adhyāya 287 — Janaka’s Inquiry on Śreyas, Abhayadāna, and Asaṅga

भवानेवंविधो<स्माकं संशयं छेत्तुमरहति । अमूढश्चिरमूढानां लोकतत्त्वमजानताम्
bhavānevamvidho 'smākaṃ saṃśayaṃ chettum arhati | amūḍhaś ciramūḍhānāṃ lokatattvam ajānatām ||
Bhīṣma disse: “Um sábio como tu é verdadeiramente apto a cortar nossa dúvida. Pois há muito permanecemos iludidos, sem compreender os verdadeiros princípios do mundo; somente um conhecedor não enganado como tu pode remover a incerteza de pessoas como nós.”
