सूचीरोमा हरिश्मश्रुरूर्ध्वकेशश्वलाचल: । गीतवादित्रतत्त्वज्ञो गीतवादनकप्रिय:
sūcīromā hariśmaśrur ūrdhvakeśaś calācalaḥ | gītavāditratattvajño gītavādanakapriyaḥ ||
Disse Bhīṣma: “Os pelos do seu corpo são como agulhas; sua barba e seu bigode são escuros. Os cabelos da cabeça erguem-se para o alto. Ele encarna tanto os mundos móveis quanto os imóveis. Conhece os verdadeiros princípios do canto e da música instrumental, e tem especial deleite em cantar e tocar.”
