बालानुचरगोप्ताय बालक्रीडनकाय च । नमो वृद्धाय लुब्धाय क्षुब्धाय क्षोभणाय च

Transliteration

bālānucaragoptāya bālakrīḍanakāya ca | namo vṛddhāya lubdhāya kṣubdhāya kṣobhaṇāya ca ||

Translation

Bhishma disse: Salve a ti, protetor das crianças e de seus companheiros, e a ti, que te deleitas em brincar com elas. Salve a ti, o mais antigo de todos, que anseias por devoção e amor. Diante dos pecados dos perversos, tu te ergues em justa indignação, e lanças os malfeitores na inquietação—sacudindo-os de seus caminhos injustos.
