इत्येष वृत्रमाश्रित्य ज्वरस्य महतो मया । विस्तर: कथित: पुत्र किमन्यत् प्रब्रवीमि ते
ity eṣa vṛtram āśritya jvarasya mahato mayā | vistaraḥ kathitaḥ putra kim anyat prabravīmi te ||
Bhīṣma disse: “Meu filho, tomando o episódio de Vṛtra como ocasião, narrei-te em detalhe a origem e o curso da grande febre ligada a Maheśvara. Que mais poderia eu dizer-te agora?”
