एवमीहासमायुक्तं मृत्युरादाय गच्छति । मनुष्य सोचता है कि यह काम तो मैंने कर लिया

Transliteration

evam īhā-samāyuktaṃ mṛtyur ādāya gacchati |

Translation

Bhishma disse: “O homem pensa: ‘Esta tarefa eu já concluí; aquela ainda preciso fazer; este outro trabalho está feito em parte e o restante ficou por terminar.’ Assim, enquanto ele se absorve em tramar planos e ocupações, a Morte vem e o leva consigo.”
