तृष्णाक्षय-उपदेशः

Instruction on the Cessation of Craving

अन्यत्र तर्कशास्त्रेभ्य आगमार्थ यथागमम्‌ । मेरे मनमें एक भयानक संशय उठ खड़ा हुआ है

anyatra tarkaśāstrebhya āgamārthaṃ yathāgamam |

Kapila disse: “Deixa de lado os tratados de mera dialética e explica o sentido da Tradição sagrada (Āgama) de acordo com a própria Āgama. Uma dúvida terrível surgiu em minha mente, e só tu podes dissipá-la. Disseste que, permanecendo no caminho verdadeiro, pode-se aqui e agora contemplar diretamente o fruto da via do yoga. Pergunto: do objeto que veneras, qual é o fruto mais manifesto, diretamente perceptível, nesta mesma vida? Estabelece-o sem te apoiares em raciocínios de disputa, para que eu compreenda de fato a intenção da Āgama.”
