तृष्णाक्षय-उपदेशः
Instruction on the Cessation of Craving

फलवन्ति च कर्माणि व्युष्टिमन्ति ध्रुवाणि च । विगुणानि च पश्यन्ति तथानैकान्तिकानि च
Transliteration
phalavanti ca karmāṇi vyuṣṭimanti dhruvāṇi ca | viguṇāni ca paśyanti tathānaikāntikāni ca
Translation
Kapila disse: “Eles observam que as ações dão frutos; que suas consequências se desdobram no devido tempo e são certas. Contudo, também veem que algumas ações são defeituosas em sua qualidade, e que os resultados nem sempre são absolutos ou uniformes—muitas vezes dependem de condições e do contexto.”
