त्वयार्चितां मां देवेश पुरो धास्यन्ति देवता: । शचीपते! देवेश्वर! इसीलिये मैं स्वयं तुम्हारे यहाँ आयी हूँ। तुम मेरा अभिनन्दन करो। तुमसे पूजित होनेपर मुझे अन्य देवता भी अपने सम्मुख स्थापित (एवं सम्मानित) करेंगे
tvayārcitāṁ māṁ deveśa puro dhāsyanti devatāḥ | śacīpate! deveśvara! tasmād ahaṁ svayam tava gṛham āgatā | māṁ tvam abhinanda | tvayā pūjitāyāṁ mām anye devatā api svāgre sthāpayiṣyanti (sammāpayiṣyanti) |
Śakra (Indra) disse: “Ó Senhor dos deuses! Quando tu me honrares, as outras divindades me colocarão na posição mais elevada. Ó consorte de Śacī, ó soberano divino—por isso vim a ti em pessoa. Recebe-me com a devida acolhida. Uma vez que eu seja venerada por ti, os outros deuses também me porão diante de si e me honrarão.”
