समरेषु च विक्रान्तं पर्याप्त॑ तन्निदर्शनम्‌ । पहले मैं जो पुरुषार्थ प्रकट कर चुका हूँ

Transliteration

samareṣu ca vikrāntaṃ paryāptaṃ tan-nidarśanam |

Translation

Bhishma disse: “E quanto ao meu valor nas batalhas, um único exemplo basta como prova. Tu sabes melhor do que ninguém o esforço varonil e a determinação que já manifestei; repetidas vezes, em muitas guerras, testemunhaste a minha bravura. Portanto, neste momento, uma só ilustração será suficiente.”
