क्षमस्व नचिरादिन्द्र त्वामप्युपगमिष्यति । इन्द्र! मैं सदा सावधान रहता था
kṣamasva nacirād indra tvām apy upagamiṣyati |
Bhīṣma disse: “Perdoa-me, ó Indra. Em breve, o Tempo virá também sobre ti. Ainda que eu tenha permanecido sempre vigilante, se o Tempo implacável pôde atingir-me, então em breve atingirá a ti também. Perdoa-me por dizer esta amarga verdade.”
