श्रीझवाच स्थास्यामि नित्य देवेन्द्र यथा त्वयि निबोध तत्‌ | विधिना वेददृष्टेन चतुर्धा विभजस्व माम्‌

Transliteration

śrīr uvāca: sthāsyāmi nityaṁ devendra yathā tvayi nibodha tat | vidhinā vedadṛṣṭena caturdhā vibhajasva mām ||

Translation

Śrī (Lakṣmī) disse: “Ó Devendra, ouve e compreende o meio pelo qual poderei habitar contigo para sempre. Segundo a ordenança sancionada pelos Vedas, divide-me em quatro porções.”
