Bali–Vāsava Dialogue on Kāla and Steadfastness
अभयं यस्य भूतेभ्य: सर्वेषामभयं यत: । नमस्य: सर्वभूतानां दान्तो भवति बुद्धिमान्
abhayaṁ yasya bhūtebhyaḥ sarveṣām abhayaṁ yataḥ | namasyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ dānto bhavati buddhimān ||
Bhishma disse: A pessoa sábia e autocontrolada, que não teme nenhum ser —e de quem, por sua vez, todos os seres se tornam livres do medo— torna-se digna de reverência para toda criatura viva. Ela encarna o dharma não pela força, mas por fazer com que o mundo ao seu redor se sinta seguro.
