यथा दीप: प्रकाशात्मा हस्वो वा यदि वा महान् | ज्ञानात्मानं तथा विद्यात् पुरुष सर्वजन्तुषु
yathā dīpaḥ prakāśātmā hrasvo vā yadi vā mahān | jñānātmānaṃ tathā vidyāt puruṣaḥ sarvajantuṣu ||
Disse Bhīṣma: Assim como uma lâmpada—seja pequena ou grande—é, por sua própria natureza, luz, assim também se deve compreender que o Ser interior presente em todas as criaturas é da natureza do conhecimento (consciência).
