Adhyāya 193: Adjudication of the Comparable Fruits of Japa and Yoga
इह चिन्ता बहुविधा धर्माधर्मस्य कर्मण: । कर्मभूमिरियं लोके इह कृत्वा शुभाशुभम् | शुभे: शुभमवाप्रोति तथाशुभमथान्यथा
iha cintā bahuvidhā dharmādharmasya karmaṇaḥ | karmabhūmir iyaṃ loke iha kṛtvā śubhāśubham || śubheḥ śubham avāpnoti tathāśubham athānyathā ||
Neste mundo surgem muitas reflexões sobre a ação—o que é dharma e o que é adharma. Este mundo é o campo do karma: tendo praticado aqui atos bons ou maus, a pessoa alcança o bom fruto das boas ações e, do mesmo modo, experimenta o mau fruto das más—nunca de outra forma.
