ध्यानयोगवर्णनम्

Description of the Path of Meditation

मानसोडग्नि: शरीरेषु जीव इत्यभिधीयते । सृष्टि: प्रजापतेरेषा भूताध्यात्मविनिश्चये

mānaso 'gnīḥ śarīreṣu jīva ity abhidhīyate | sṛṣṭiḥ prajāpater eṣā bhūtādhyātma-viniścaye ||

Disse Bharadvāja: “Nos corpos, o fogo interior que habita na mente—luminoso como chama—é chamado ‘jīva’ (o ser vivente). Desse Prajāpati, entendido como o princípio coletivo da vida, procede esta criação. Isto é declarado após um discernimento firme da verdade do eu interior em relação aos seres.”
