Educational Q&A

The verse teaches a Vedāntic vision of the Supreme: Nārāyaṇa is the inner Self of all, untouched and unmanifest, beyond material nature and sensory grasp, yet the sovereign source from whom creation proceeds.

Within Bhīṣma’s discourse, a citation of Bhṛgu describes how, when the Lord willed creation, He emanated a cosmic ‘Person’—the Mānasa Puruṣa—known to ancient seers as a primordial, deathless principle.
