Daṇḍa as the Foundation of Social Order (दण्डप्रतिष्ठा)
देहान् पुराणानुत्सृज्य नवान् सम्प्रतिपद्यते । एवं मृत्युमुखं प्राहुर्जना ये तत्त्वदर्शिन:
dehān purāṇān utsṛjya navān sampratipadyate | evaṁ mṛtyumukhaṁ prāhur janā ye tattvadarśinaḥ ||
Arjuna disse: “Abandonando os corpos antigos, assume-se outros novos. Assim, aqueles que veem a realidade tal como é descrevem a morte como mera entrada em outro estado — uma passagem inevitável, e não aniquilação.”
