ब्रह्मदत्त उवाच अस्ति वै कृतमस्माभिरस्ति प्रतिकृतं त्वया । उभयं तत् समीभूतं वस पूजनि मा गम:,ब्रह्मदत्त बोले--पूजनी! हमने तेरा अपराध किया था और तूने उसका बदला चुका लिया। अब हम दोनोंका कार्य बराबर हो गया। इसलिये अब यहीं रह। किसी दूसरी जगह न जा
brahmadatta uvāca | asti vai kṛtam asmābhir asti pratikṛtaṃ tvayā | ubhayaṃ tat samībhūtaṃ vasa pūjani mā gamaḥ ||
Brahmadatta disse: “De fato, uma falta foi cometida por nós, e de fato tu a retribuíste. Agora, ambos os atos estão em equilíbrio. Portanto, ó venerável, permanece aqui; não vás para outro lugar.”
