Apaddharma Determination: Dialogue of Viśvāmitra and the Śvapaca
तस्माद् विवर्धतां प्रीतिर्नित्यं संगतमस्तु नौ । कालातीतमिहार्थ तु न प्रशंसन्ति पण्डिता:
tasmād vivardhatāṁ prītir nityaṁ saṅgatam astu nau | kālātītam ihārthaṁ tu na praśaṁsanti paṇḍitāḥ ||
Portanto, que o nosso afeto mútuo sempre cresça e que a nossa companhia permaneça constante. Pois, quando o tempo próprio de um empreendimento já passou, os sábios não louvam o esforço tardio.
