दीर्घदर्शी–दीर्घसूत्र–संप्रतिपत्तिमान् आख्यानम्
The Parable of Foresight, Procrastination, and Presence of Mind
लोके च लभते पूजां परत्रेह महत् फलम्
loke ca labhate pūjāṃ paratreha mahat phalam |
Bhishma disse: Quem vive segundo tal conduta alcança honra neste mundo e, no além, grande recompensa. Tornando-se livre de pecado, rapidamente conquista o respeito de muitos, desfruta de diversas formas de felicidade e é protegido pelo poder de suas próprias e notáveis boas ações. Assim é honrado em toda parte nesta vida e participa de grandes frutos tanto aqui quanto no mundo vindouro.
