अद्रोह: सर्वभूतेषु कर्मणा मनसा गिरा । अनुग्रहश्च दानं च शीलमेतत् प्रशस्यते
adrohaḥ sarvabhūteṣu karmaṇā manasā girā | anugrahaś ca dānaṃ ca śīlam etat praśasyate ||
Dhṛtarāṣṭra disse: “Não nutrir malícia contra nenhum ser — por ação, por pensamento ou por palavra — e mostrar benevolência, bem como dar caridade conforme a própria capacidade: isto é chamado śīla (boa conduta), e é louvado por todos.”
