Adhyāya 115: On Restraint Under Verbal Provocation in the Assembly (सभायां आक्रोश-सहिष्णुता)

यस्यावाच्यं न लोके5स्ति नाकार्य चापि किंचन । वाचं तेन न संदध्याच्छुचि: संश्लिष्टकर्मणा

yasya avācyaṃ na loke 'sti na akāryaṃ cāpi kiṃcana | vācaṃ tena na sandadhyāc chuciḥ saṃśliṣṭa-karmāṇā ||

Disse Bhīṣma: “Com aquele para quem, neste mundo, nada é ‘indizível’ e nada é ‘impróprio de ser feito’, um homem puro—conhecido por ter sido purificado e enobrecido por uma conduta justa e constante—não deve sequer iniciar conversa.”
