शकुनि (हिरण्मय-पक्षी) उपदेशः — Vighasāśin and the Difficulty of Gārhasthya

पुण्यं भवति कर्मेदं प्रशस्तं चैव जीवितम्‌ । सिद्धार्थस्ति गतिं मुख्यां प्राप्ता धर्मपरायणा:

puṇyaṃ bhavati karmedaṃ praśastaṃ caiva jīvitam | siddhārthāste gatiṃ mukhyāṃ prāptā dharmaparāyaṇāḥ ||

“Este feito torna-se meritório, e seu modo de vida é de fato louvável. Os devotados ao dharma cumpriram seu propósito e alcançaram o curso mais elevado do destino.”
