मातापितृगुरुपूजा-प्रशंसा
Praise of Venerating Mother, Father, and Teacher
न चास्मिन्नपरे लोके यशस्तस्य प्रकाशते । न चान्यदपि कल्याण परत्र समुदाह्ृतम्
na cāsminn apare loke yaśas tasya prakāśate | na cānyad api kalyāṇaṃ paratra samudāhṛtam ||
Bhīṣma disse: “Nem neste mundo nem no outro a boa fama de tal pessoa resplandece. Tampouco, no além, ela alcança com facilidade qualquer outro bem auspicioso de que se fala.”
