तमुत्तमेन शौचेन कर्मणा चाभिधारय

Transliteration

tam uttamena śaucena karmaṇā cābhidhāraya

Translation

Bhīṣma disse: “Conquista-o pela mais alta pureza de conduta e por feitos nobres. Por esse comportamento sem mancha, desperta no rei de Videha confiança em ti. O rei de Videha é fiel aos seus votos; por isso, certamente te concederá riquezas. Se isso acontecer, tornar-te-ás um padrão digno de confiança para todos os seres e o braço direito do rei—seu principal apoio no governo.”
