Duryodhana-śibira-praveśaḥ — The Pāṇḍavas Enter the Kaurava Camp; The Burning of Arjuna’s Chariot

कृतवानस्यकार्याणि विपाकस्तस्य भुज्यताम्‌ | तुमने अत्यन्त प्रबल लोभ और तृष्णाके वशीभूत होकर न करनेयोग्य कार्य किये हैं; अतः उनका परिणाम अब तुम्हीं भोगो

kṛtavān asya akāryāṇi vipākas tasya bhujyatām

Vāyu disse: “Cometeste atos que não deviam ser cometidos; portanto, que o fruto amadurecido dessas ações seja suportado por ti mesmo. Subjugado por uma cobiça e uma sede de desejo poderosíssimas, fizeste o que não era devido; assim, agora, sofre tu as consequências.”
