यस्त्रयोदशवर्षाणि गदया कृतनिश्रम: । चरत्यूर्थध्व च तिर्यक्ू च भीमसेनजिघांसया
yas trayodaśa-varṣāṇi gadayā kṛta-niśramaḥ | caraty ūrdhvaṃ ca tiryak ca bhīmasena-jighāṃsayā ||
Vāyu disse: “Por treze anos ele suportou esforço ininterrupto e se exercitou com a maça. Agora, impelido pelo desejo de matar Bhīmasena, ele ronda—movendo-se para cima e de lado—à procura de uma brecha.”
