किं वाचा बहुनोक्तेन कत्थितेन च दुर्मते । वाणी सम्पद्यतामेषा कर्मणा मा चिरं कृथा:,'दुर्बुद्धे! वाणीद्वारा बहुत शेखी बघारनेसे क्या होगा? तू जो कुछ कहता है, उसे शीघ्र ही कार्यरूपमें परिणत कर”
kiṃ vācā bahunoktena katthitena ca durmate | vāṇī sampadyatām eṣā karmaṇā mā ciraṃ kṛthāḥ ||
Sañjaya disse: “De que servem tantas palavras e tanta fanfarronice, ó insensato? Que teu discurso se cumpra por meio da ação—não demores.”
