Indratīrtha–Ādityatīrtha: Balarāma’s Ritual Bathing, Dāna, and Sacred-Historical Recollections
इदं च ते तीर्थवरं स्थिरं लोके भविष्यति । सर्वपापापहं सुभ्रु नाम्ना बदरपाचनम्,'सुभ्रु! तुम्हारा यह श्रेष्ठ तीर्थ इस जगत्में सुस्थिर होगा, बदरपाचन नामसे प्रसिद्ध होकर सम्पूर्ण पापोंका नाश करनेवाला होगा
idam ca te tīrthavaraṃ sthiraṃ loke bhaviṣyati | sarvapāpāpahaṃ subhru nāmnā badarapācanam ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Este excelente tīrtha teu permanecerá firmemente estabelecido no mundo. Ó de belas sobrancelhas, será conhecido pelo nome de ‘Badarapācana’ e removerá todos os pecados.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse affirms the dharmic idea that certain tīrthas, established through righteous association and remembrance, become enduring sources of purification—symbolically ‘removing sins’ and guiding people toward ethical renewal.
Vaiśaṃpāyana proclaims the lasting fame of a particular sacred place connected with Subhru, declaring that it will be known as ‘Badarapācana’ and revered as a sin-destroying tīrtha.
