Transliteration

kṛtvāñjaliṃ tato rājan rākṣasāḥ kṣudhayārditāḥ

Translation

Então, ó Rei, os rākṣasas—atormentados pela fome—uniram as mãos em súplica. Esse momento ressalta que até os ferozes e violentos, quando premidos pelo sofrimento, voltam-se para a humildade e buscam alívio por meio de um apelo respeitoso, e não pela força.
