प्राप्तैश्न नियमैस्तैस्तैविचरन्त: पृथक्‌ पृथक्‌

Transliteration

prāptaiś ca niyamais tais tais te vicarantaḥ pṛthak pṛthak | adṛśyāḥ puruṣaśreṣṭha loke svīkṛtaniyamānusāriṇaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana disse: Tendo adotado diversas disciplinas, moviam-se separadamente, cada qual segundo a regra de conduta que aceitara. Invisíveis aos homens comuns, vagavam pelo mundo; assim, aquela presença maravilhosa (como um ser das florestas) tornou-se célebre por todo este universo.
