ओषधीनां क्षये जाते प्राणिनामपि संक्षय:

Transliteration

oṣadhīnāṃ kṣaye jāte prāṇinām api saṃkṣayaḥ

Translation

Vaiśampāyana disse: “Quando as ervas medicinais se esgotam, os seres vivos também entram em declínio — a própria vida diminui quando desaparecem os remédios que a sustentam.”
