Disse Sañjaya: Ao ouvir as palavras de Dvaidhāyana (Vyāsa), Sātyaki, neto de Śini, juntou as mãos em reverência. Então libertou-me e disse: “Sañjaya, que estejas bem. Vai—cumpre o teu intento.”

Even in wartime, dharma can be upheld through reverence to wise counsel and humane restraint—here shown by honoring Vyāsa’s words and releasing a captive messenger with a blessing.
After hearing Vyāsa (Dvaidhāyana), Sātyaki—Śini’s grandson—folds his hands respectfully, frees Sañjaya from captivity, and tells him to go safely and fulfill his mission.
