द्वैपायनह्रदे दुर्योधनान्वेषणम् / The Search for Duryodhana at Dvaipāyana Lake
धृष्टद्युम्नस्तु मां दृष्टया हसन् सात्यकिमब्रवीत् । किमनेन गृहीतेन नानेनार्थो5स्ति जीवता,उस समय मुझे कैदमें पड़ा हुआ देखकर हँसते हुए धृष्टद्युम्नने सात्यकिसे कहा --“ इसको कैद करके क्या करना है? इसके जीवित रहनेसे अपना कोई लाभ नहीं है!
dhṛṣṭadyumnas tu māṃ dṛṣṭvā hasan sātyakim abravīt | kim anena gṛhītena nānenārtho 'sti jīvatā ||
Sañjaya disse: Vendo-me cativo, Dhṛṣṭadyumna riu e disse a Sātyaki: “De que serve manter este homem preso? Enquanto viver, não há proveito algum a tirar dele.”
