अचोदयद्धयान् राजन् दुर्योधनबल प्रति | राजन्! यशस्वी पाण्डुपुत्र अर्जुके ऐसा कहनेपर दशार्हकुलनन्दन श्रीकृष्णने दुर्योधनकी सेनाकी ओर घोड़े बढ़ा दिये
sañjaya uvāca | acodayad dhayān rājan duryodhana-bala prati |
Disse Sañjaya: Ó rei, ele instou os cavalos a avançar em direção ao exército de Duryodhana. Assim, às palavras de Arjuna, o ilustre filho de Pāṇḍu, Kṛṣṇa—glorioso descendente da linhagem Dāśārha—conduziu o carro rumo ao hoste dos Kauravas, firme no dever em meio à guerra.
संजय उवाच
Even amid violent conflict, action is framed as disciplined duty: the charioteer’s controlled advance symbolizes steadiness, obedience to rightful command, and purposeful engagement rather than impulsive aggression.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the chariot is driven forward; at Arjuna’s prompting, Kṛṣṇa urges the horses toward Duryodhana’s forces, moving the protagonists into direct confrontation.
