पातयामास कौरव्यं रथोपस्थादरिंदम: । फिर हँसते-हँसते उन शत्रुदमन वीरने कुरुवंशी जयत्सेनको नाराचसे घायल करके उसे रथकी बैठकसे नीचे गिरा दिया
pātayāmāsa kauravyaṁ rathopasthād ariṁdamaḥ |
Sañjaya disse: O guerreiro que subjuga inimigos derrubou o Kaurava, fazendo-o cair do assento de sua carruagem. A cena ressalta o ímpeto implacável da batalha, em que a destreza e a precisão tática decidem vida e morte num instante, e em que a excelência marcial se mostra sem pausa sob o peso moral de uma guerra fratricida.
