तत् सर्वमद्य जानामि व्यवसायं दुरात्मन: । यदुक्त वचन तेन विदुरेण महात्मना
tat sarvam adya jānāmi vyavasāyaṁ durātmanaḥ | yad uktaṁ vacanaṁ tena vidureṇa mahātmanā ||
Sañjaya disse: “Agora compreendo plenamente a determinação e a intenção daquele homem de mente perversa. Tudo se revelou exatamente como o magnânimo Vidura havia dito.”
संजय उवाच
Ethically, the verse highlights the value of righteous counsel and clear discernment: the intentions of an adharma-driven person become evident through outcomes, and the wise (like Vidura) can foresee the consequences of immoral resolve.
Sanjaya reflects on events and tells Dhritarashtra that he now recognizes the determined intent of the evil-minded party, and that what Vidura had earlier warned or predicted has proven true.
