प्रतिज्ञां तां तदा राजा कृत्वा मद्रेशमभ्ययात् | ततः शड्खांश्व भेरीश्व शतशश्वैव पुष्कलान्
Transliteration
pratijñāṃ tāṃ tadā rājā kṛtvā madreśam abhyayāt | tataḥ śaṅkhāṃś ca bherīś ca śataśaś caiva puṣkalān |
Translation
Disse Sañjaya: Tendo então feito aquele voto, o rei avançou em direção ao senhor de Madra. Em seguida, em grande abundância, conchas e tambores de guerra ressoaram — às centenas — proclamando a determinação e conclamando os guerreiros para os duros deveres da guerra.
