अध्याय ९ — दुर्योधनस्य अन्त्यावस्था, विलापः, तथा सौप्तिक-प्रतिवृत्तम्
Duryodhana’s Final Condition, Lamentation, and the Night’s Report
द्रौपदेया हता: सर्वे धृष्टद्युम्नस्थ चात्मजा: । पज्चाला निहता: सर्वे मत्स्यशेषं च भारत
sañjaya uvāca | draupadeyā hatāḥ sarve dhṛṣṭadyumnasya cātmajāḥ | pāñcālā nihatāḥ sarve matsyaśeṣaṃ ca bhārata ||
Disse Sañjaya: “Foram mortos todos os filhos de Draupadī, e também os filhos de Dhṛṣṭadyumna. Todos os Pāñcālas foram exterminados, ó Bhārata, e até as forças remanescentes do reino de Matsya foram varridas.”
