यथाप्रतिज्ञं तत् कर्म कृत्वा द्रौणायनि: प्रभो
yathāpratijñaṃ tat karma kṛtvā drauṇāyaniḥ prabho
Disse Sañjaya: Ó senhor, tendo realizado aquele feito exatamente como havia jurado, o filho de Droṇa cumpriu sua sombria resolução—um ato que mostra como uma intenção empenhada, quando atrelada à ira na guerra, pode levar alguém a um erro irreversível.
