Aśvatthāman’s Curse, Parikṣit’s Future, and the Mani’s Restitution
इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत सौप्तिकपर्वके अन्तर्गत ऐषीकपर्वमें ब्रह्मासत्रका पाण्डवोके गर्भमें प्रवेशविषयक पंद्रहवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ,इतश्वोर्ध्व महाबाहु: कुरुराजो भविष्यति
iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārate sauptikaparvake antargata aiṣīkaparvaṇi brahmāstrasya pāṇḍavānāṁ garbhe praveśaviṣayakaḥ pañcadaśo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ | itaś cordhvaṁ mahābāhuḥ kururājo bhaviṣyati ||
Assim, no Śrī Mahābhārata, dentro do Sauptika Parva—em particular, na seção Aiṣīka—conclui-se o décimo quinto capítulo, que trata da entrada do Brahmāstra no ventre da linhagem dos Pāṇḍavas. Daqui em diante, nascerá um rei dos Kurus, de braços poderosos.
