एवं तेषु नराग्र्येषु निर्यत्सु गजसाह्वयात्‌ । अनभ्रे विद्युतश्नासन्‌ भूमिश्व समकम्पत

Transliteration

evaṁ teṣu narāgryeṣu niryatsu gajasāhvayāt | anabhre vidyutaḥ śnāsan bhūmiś ca samakampata ||

Translation

Vidura disse: Quando aqueles homens excelsos partiram de Hastināpura, relâmpagos fulguraram num céu sem nuvens, e a própria terra começou a tremer—presságios sinistros que assinalavam a gravidade moral do que estava prestes a acontecer.
