Renewed Summons to the Dice-Game and Exile Wager

The verse highlights the ethical danger of executing a superior’s command without moral discernment. Anger and loyalty to an unrighteous order can turn a person into an agent of adharma, especially when directed against someone who should be protected by social and royal norms.
Duḥśāsana, after hearing Duryodhana’s instruction, rises in anger and goes to the Pāṇḍavas’ residence. He enters and begins to address Draupadī, setting up the ensuing confrontation and humiliation central to the Sabha Parva crisis.
