अध्याय ६४ — सभामध्ये क्रोध-निवारणम्
Restraint of wrath in the royal assembly
अहं कर्तेति विदुर मा च मंस्था मा नो नित्यं परुषाणीह वोच: । न त्वां पृच्छामि विदुर यद्धितं मे स्वस्ति क्षत्तर्मा तितिक्षून् क्षिणु त्वम्
ahaṃ karte iti vidura mā ca maṃsthā mā no nityaṃ paruṣāṇīha vocaḥ | na tvāṃ pṛcchāmi vidura yaddhitaṃ me svasti kṣattar mā titikṣūn kṣiṇu tvam ||
Disse Duryodhana: “Vidura, não penses: ‘eu sou o agente’, e não continues a falar-nos aqui com aspereza, dia após dia. Não te pergunto, Vidura, o que seria para o meu bem. Vai em paz, ó camareiro: vai cuidar dos que são pacientes e tolerantes.”
