उपगीयमाना नारीभिरस्वपन्‌ कुरुपुज़रवा:,वहाँ स्त्रियोंद्वारा अपने सुयशका गान सुनते हुए वे कुरुकुलके श्रेष्ठ पुरुष सो गये

upagīyamānā nārībhir asvapan kurupuṅgavāḥ

Disse Vaiśampāyana: Enquanto as mulheres cantavam a sua nobre fama, os mais ilustres homens da linhagem Kuru deitaram-se e adormeceram—repousando entre louvores que afirmavam sua honra pública e seu prestígio social.
