कच्चित् स्त्रिय: सान्त्वयसि कच्चित् ताश्च सुरक्षिता: । कच्चिन्न श्रद्दधास्यासां कच्चिद् गुह्ूं न भाषसे,तुम स्त्रियोंको सान्त्वना देकर संतुष्ट रखते हो न? क्या वे तुम्हारे यहाँ पूर्णरूपसे सुरक्षित हैं? तुम उनपर पूरा विश्वास तो नहीं करते? और विश्वास करके उन्हें कोई गुप्त बात तो नहीं बता देते?
Transliteration
kaccit striyaḥ sāntvayasi kaccit tāś ca surakṣitāḥ | kaccin na śraddadhāsyāsāṃ kaccid guhyaṃ na bhāṣase ||
Translation
Nārada disse: “Manténs as mulheres satisfeitas, falando-lhes com palavras de consolo e bondade? E estão elas plenamente protegidas em teu reino? Ainda assim, evitas depositar nelas confiança total e te absténs de lhes revelar quaisquer assuntos confidenciais?”
