Rājasūyābhiṣeka-darśana: Duryodhana’s Observation of the Consecration
शकुनिरुवाच दुर्योधनो महाराज विवर्णो हरिण: कृश: । दीनश्रिन्तापरश्वैव तं विद्धि मनुजाधिप,शकुनिने कहा--महाराज! दुर्योधनकी कान्ति फीकी पड़ती जा रही है! वह सफेद और दुर्बल हो गया है। उसकी बड़ी दयनीय दशा है। वह निरन्तर चिन्तामें डूबा रहता है। नरेश्वर! उसके मनोभावको समझिये
śakunir uvāca—duryodhano mahārāja vivarṇo hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ | dīnaś cintāparaś caiva taṃ viddhi manu-jādhipa ||
Śakuni disse: “Ó grande rei, Duryodhana empalideceu e definhou como um cervo; tornou-se emagrecido. Está miserável e inteiramente absorvido pela ansiedade. Ó senhor dos homens, compreende a sua condição.”
