साभ्यर्च्य तौ तदा वीरीौ प्रीत्या चाभ्यधिकं ततः । पुत्रं दामोदरोत्सज्रे देवी संन्यदधात् स््वयम्,महादेवी श्रुतश्रवाने बड़े प्रेमसे उन दोनों वीरोंका सत्कार किया और स्वयं ही अपने पुत्रको श्रीकृष्णकी गोदमें डाल दिया
sābhyarcya tau tadā vīrau prītyā cābhyadhikaṃ tataḥ | putraṃ dāmodarotsaje devī saṃnyadadhāt svayam ||
Bhīṣma disse: Então a nobre rainha honrou aqueles dois heróis com hospitalidade reverente e, depois, com afeto ainda maior; e ela mesma colocou seu filho no colo de Dāmodara (Kṛṣṇa).
भीष्म उवाच
