कि नु स्याद्धिमवान् भिन्न: कि नु स्विद् दीर्यते मही । इति वै मागधा जज्ञुर्भीमसेनस्य नि:स्वनात्,भीमसेनकी गर्जना सुनकर मगधके लोग भयभीत होकर सोचने लगे कि “कहीं हिमालय पहाड़ तो नहीं फट पड़ा? कहीं पृथ्वी तो विदीर्ण नहीं हो रही है?
ki nu syād himavān bhinnaḥ ki nu svid dīryate mahī | iti vai māgadhā jajñur bhīmasenasya niḥsvanāt |
Disse Vaiśaṃpāyana: Ao ouvirem o rugido trovejante de Bhīmasena, os habitantes de Magadha foram tomados de medo e se perguntaram: “Terá o Himālaya se partido? Ou será a própria terra que se rasga?”
